Still Life Note Cards

Botanical Excess and Kittens + Flowers

As much as I enjoy growing and arranging flowers, I also can’t help but photograph them. I hope I capture the lush over the top joie de vivre of high summer. At least I try. I’m also lucky to have special guest stars model for me in the forms of the cats I’ve been honored to know. Some of them are total hams.

I took the advice of a few friends and turned these photos into note cards. A few of those images are below. You can find them at a few stores in the DC area, including Goldsborough Glynn Antiques and Tabletop in Takoma Park. Or email me (click on the letter icon below) and I’ll send you details on ordering a box set for your special letter writing pals.

that was a really steamy evening. Thank god for those melons

Bizzy hides behind the ferns

Bismuth was one of a litter of Oreo-cookie kittens we fostered last year from the Washington DC Humane Rescue Alliance. I miss that little love muffin but he went to a super sweet family

The Statue Arrived Decapitated

so I fixed it. I ordered a brass rabbit sculpture and apparently there was some trouble in transit. Luckily it was May and there were enough clematis, viburnum and foxglove to fill the void
